Understanding Behavioral Optometry
How I Help.

- AD(H)D
- Autism Spectrum Disorders
- Learning and Reading Difficulties
- Developmental Delays
- Emotional and Non-Verbal Disabilities
- Myopia (Nearsightedness) Control
- Binocular Vision Conditions

I also cater to those dealing with conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Cerebral Palsy, food and environmental allergies, and more.
About Me
I have devoted my career to Behavioral Optometry since 1985. My passion for this specialized field stemmed from firsthand experiences of the remarkable improvements visual training and vision therapy could bring to those struggling with vision deficiencies. I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to perform at their best, and that vision should never be a roadblock.
What Sets Me Apart
Unlike typical optometry practices that focus solely on sight correction, I prescribe lenses designed to enhance how you perform in daily activities. For instance, if your child tends to veer when walking or has trouble concentrating, custom lenses could provide significant improvement. Performance lenses are beneficial for practically all patients. I also guide my patients through visual training to use their vision more effectively.
Real-Life Impact
Many of my patients arrived after being told that their vision problems had no solution, or that they or their child would have to live with their issues. In many cases, I’ve found that treating the vision issue played a significant role in full recovery, helping children excel in school and adults reclaim their daily activities.
